As for our history, Tom Huggins, founder and general manager of Eola Hills, had a dream rooted in facts. He knew that great wines could only come from great vineyards, and through his former occupation as a agricultural insurance expert, he knew where that precious vineyard land was located. This knowledge enabled him to purchase some of the prime sites for his own vineyards in the rolling terrain of the Northwest Willamette Valley of Oregon, and to fulfill a dream of creating his own wine.
Situated in a natural weather shadow of the Coast Range, which shunts storms from the Pacific Ocean north to Portland and south below Salem in the Willamette Valley, the Eola Hills vineyards are protected from weather extremes. Yet in summer, a gorge carved by ancient glaciers draws in maritime air to provide ideal cooling for sensitive varietals in those warmer months.
With these extensive holdings, the winery is able to control quality throughout the grape growing and wine making processes. This enables Eola Hills to offer the public consumer friendly wines at irresistible prices. For the most sophisticated palates, the winery also produces in very limited quantity, certain Reserve and Late Harvest bottlings, hand-crafted and extensively aged. Always, however, all wines are created to enhance food and ultimate dining pleasure and so are particularly suited to fine restaurants.
Eola Hills also produces a number of private label wines for many prestigious restaurants, resorts, hotels and other clients. These wines are identical to those produced under Eola Hills' own label. "Our name," says Tom Huggins, "is on the label as well as the patron's. Both should reap the reputation of serving the very best."

The Estate
Here we are after 30 years, still at it. Established in 1983 by Denis Burger and Elaine McCall, Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA. The McMinnville AVA has something unique to offer and stands apart from the other AVA's in Oregon. If you are looking for a Pinot Noir that packs a little more punch than your typical strawberries and earth - you have come to the right place. We are located just off Highway 18, it's the perfect place to stop on your way to or from the coast, or just as a day trip from Portland or Salem metro area. We have over 100 acres of vineyard, do everything from growing to bottling on site, and that is what makes us a great value as well as having old fashioned quality. We work to make constant improvements, and you never know what might be changing next so come and visit our friendly staff for a tasting ($5 for the normal flight and an additional $10 for our premier Tall Poppy Pinot Noir and a taste of Mondillo - our sister winery in the southern hemisphere). Cheers!

St. Innocent Winery was founded in 1988 by Mark Vlossak who continues to be our winemaker and President. We produce small lots of handmade, vineyard-designated wine from some of the best sites in the Willamette Valley. Since our founding, we have grown from 600 cases that first year to our current production of 8-10,000 cases, yet each wine is still handcrafted in the very same manner. Year after year, St. Innocent Winery has received recognition from throughout the country and around the world for its outstanding Pinot noir, beautifully crafted white wines, and fair pricing.

Coleman Vineyard is located in the Coast Range foothills of Yamhill County in the Willamette Valley, was initially planted in 1991. The vineyard consists of 13.5 acres of Pinot Noir, clones Pommard, Dijon 114, and Dijon 115, along with 9 acres of Pinot Gris. The site is 300-500 feet elevation with silty clay loams on a fractured volcanic basalt base. Coleman Vineyard was selected by the US Geology Service for a detailed soil study in 2006. This year-long test provided significant information about the vineyard site regarding soil typing, water holding capacity and uptake, and nutrient and mineral exchanges.
The vineyard is close to the Van Duzer corridor, an opening through the Coast Range mountains to the Oregon coast, providing hot summer days with afternoon winds cooling the evening temperatures significantly. We believe this temperature variation, along with the volcanic soils, contribute to the phenolic characteristics and brightness of the wine, providing a structure for aging and signature dark cherry and spice flavors with intense color. Because of these unique influences, the coastal foothills of McMinnville has been approved for AVA status, and the area is known as the McMinnville AVA. The area is 40 million years old, formed from oceanic volcanic uprisings followed by deposits of lava from the Cascade Mountain volcanic eruptions known as 'basalt tufts'.

Founded in 1998 by Scott and Lisa Neal, Coeur de Terre vineyard specializes in producing estate grown Pinot Noir from our vineyard located in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range. We do it all, we live on the estate, planted the vineyard, farm the land and make the wine so you can enjoy wines that are a true expression of our work.
The vineyard is nestled in a protective valley that offers us just the right amount of heat to allow for a slow and gentle ripening of our fruit while protecting us from harsh coastal winds. These special factors, along with our dedication to utilizing only organic farming techniques contribute to the unique character expressed in our wines.
Coeur de Terre is a family business and we would love the opportunity to show you around the beautiful place we call home. Please visit our tasting room Thursday-Monday from 11AM to 5PM or call us anytime at 503-883-4111 to schedule a private tour of our vineyards, winery and for a private tasting.

Hours: Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Left Coast Cellars estate - situated on the 45th parallel – consists of 306 acres, 104 of which are devoted to the cultivation of grapes. Steep hills facing west, north and south, creating a natural amphitheater surrounding a large meadow and spring fed lake, central to the gravity-fed irrigation of our vines. Planting on varying soils, elevations and slopes contribute to the complexities and subtleties of our wines. The cool Pacific Ocean breezes driven into the Willamette Valley through the Van Duzer Corridor, ending just west of our vineyards, moderate our sunny summer days. It is this precise combination of geography and geology that gives our wines a distinct sense of place.
The remainder of the property is preserved as one of the last stands of old growth white oak trees in the area and also contains fruit orchards and streams. The bodies of water attract migrating birds and encourage birds of prey, helping to balance animal life in the vineyards.
In addition to our grapes, we are cultivating European truffles on a four acre site of hazelnut trees, shrub roses and holly oaks. We also tend a grove of olive trees and an organic vegetable garden to stock our Tasting Room Cafe.
